I can't upload my Avatar. Why?

I can't speak for anyone else, but I changed mine successfully from a small jpg to a gif smiley and back.

Hi:

It just works fine! When you upload an image, give it its time to upload, do NOT jump to new page or click on any new link.

Also, you may check with folder permissions.
