A Way to view revisions instead of downloading docs

It may already be an option, but is there a way to "view" the past revisions of a document/image? Seems like it would be nice to perhaps add a "View" icon that opens an ajax window, or temporarily updates the current view at the top.

Thoughts?

On the document summary screen, middle pane, open
  • Revisions. There you can download that revision number.
