Email Account Connection Error

Hi,

I have been trying to set up my email account for over an hour now. I tried both POP3 and IMAP connection methods and both gives this error:

Failed to establish TLS connection

I have OpenGoo installed on a sub-domain, which is different from the email addresses.

e.g. winchester@mydomainname.com
Opengoo: http://office.mydomainname.com

Do you think this is the reason why I am getting this error? If so, how can I fix this?

I would prefer to use IMAP Method, since we already have mail and folders on the server now.

I have RoundCube installed on another sub-domain, which we are currently using for mail now. I'm using the IMAP method with RoundCube, so I know it should work.

If someone could help I would truly appreciate it.

First try unchecking SSL
Next make sure you know how your server sets up SMTP, IMAP and Pop.
