errors on demo 1.0

Is it me or is anyone else getting errors on the demo for 1.0 English version? Want to upgrade from 1.0r3 but afraid, don't want these errors...thanks

The errors about the missing ')' only happen when you have an event with line breaks on the description, and this bug is also present on RC3, so upgrading to 1.0 is a safer choice than staying with 1.0 RC3.
