No Admin panel after upgade

It appears something happened in my upgrade from openoffice 1.6.2 to feng 1.7 that is causing me to no longer have an 'administration' link. could something have downgraded me from admin? or is it moved somewhere I can't find it?

It should be in the same place. I don't recall any change that could downgrade you. Maybe take a look at the users table in the DB ...

What would I be looking for in the user table though... there's not anything like an 'admin' flag, there's a field called 'type' but all users are blank, so I wouldn't know what else to put in there?

Try setting type to "admin" in admin users, and "normal" in regular users
