How to clean the cache

Hi, I'm having a lot of little problems since I upgrade from 1.6.2 to 1.7.0

I think the most of them are due a remain information and I would like to clean up the cache of the program.

I already did it for firefox but nothing happends.

Feng cache is stored in the cache folder.

I already empty the cache folder, I erase all the files in there.

I also check the database and everything seems ok in the mail tables.

¿Where else can I search for the failure?
