« on: September 17, 2010, 08:05:36 am »
Hello !
Is there are any alternative editors for the saved documents like in joomla?
The editor which is included isn't the best...

Thanks for every comments.

More to the point, what about the current editor are you unhappy with?

Generally when making topics like this, it is considered somewhat rude not to explain in some sort of detail what you mean. Moreover it just serves to confuse and irritate developers because they don't have a clear picture as to what the issue is.

Could you be a bit more descriptive as to what you mean/need/want?

Doesn't Joomla use TinyMCE?

I agree with Forboding Angel, next time please let us know which problem do you have or what is going on, so we may take it into consideration or try to help you out if we can.
By the way, the editor has already been fixed a bit more for a future version
Best regards,
Francisco

Hi

A case of an example that is obvious to Joomla users and not to anyone else!

What Tom means is that, in Joomla, there is a default editor, as well as third party editors which can be used instead.

The basic Joomla editor is average, and some of the "extra" editors are awesome (e.g. www.joomlacontenteditor.net)

I think the answer ito Feng, is No, there are no other editors at this time :-)

Regards
Brendon

That's exactly what I meant.

Thanks for your explanation, Brendon!
