E-mail Problem

Hi,

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem, when ever I try to send an e-mail I get the following error message Error 500: Internal Server Error what does this mean and how can I resolve it?

Check your permissions on folders from your install....that is usually the problem unless you have an htacess file in a folder that is not set to 644.    Look at that first.
