Full support for Apache 1.3 ??
« on: January 26, 2009, 04:08:41 pm »
Is it possible that opengoo became full support under Apche 1.3?

We have a lot off problems with our provider to change form Apache 1.3 to Apache 2.0.

He told us that there is no reason for php applictions to use Apache 2.0. It have to work with all functions under Apache 1.3

What's the reasons for the OpenGoo developers that OpenGoo must run under Apache 2.0?

I think your provider should update to Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.2.8.

 ;)

OpenGoo works pretty well on Apache 1.3 as far as I'm aware. There were some '405' errors that were fixed for next version, but otherwise I think that it works fine. What problems are you having there?

When we say that we recommend Apache 2.0+ or that we only support Apache 2.0+ we mean that we test it only under that web server, but thanks to the testing done by the community we are gradually improving support for other web servers too.

Hi ignacio,

thanks for your feedback. In 12.beta2 the error 405 is fixed.

Our provider will not change to Apache 2.0+. So it is our part for testing OpenGoo under Apache 1.3
